Our short courses in animal care are designed for learners aged 16 and over who want to gain introductory, hands-on experience with animals. They are ideal for smallholders or new owners looking to care for their first sheep, goats, or poultry, as well as for school leavers who wish to explore animal care before progressing to a full qualification. These courses also serve as an excellent addition to existing studies, providing practical skills and confidence in animal handling, husbandry, and welfare in a friendly and supportive learning environment.
