Entry Level 2 Skills for Working Life Land Based Construction (Hybrid Learning)
The Entry Level 2 Skills for Working Life – Construction qualification provides learners with a practical introduction to land-based construction skills and the safe working practices needed within a real outdoor environment. Through a combination of online theory-based learning and practical on-farm sessions, learners develop an understanding of health and safety, the correct use of hand tools, basic construction materials, and simple building and maintenance tasks carried out under supervision.
Alongside practical skills, learners build essential employability skills including teamwork, communication, problem-solving, following instructions, and personal responsibility. The qualification is designed to develop confidence and independence, helping learners prepare for further training, volunteering opportunities, or entry-level roles within construction and the wider land-based sector.
Suitable for beginners and learners requiring additional support, this qualification provides a recognised stepping stone towards higher-level vocational study and future employment opportunities.
