At Friends of Frampton Farm, learners access our education programmes through a range of different funding arrangements.
Whether your child is fully home educated or follows a flexible educational pathway, our courses offer a unique opportunity to learn through hands-on experiences with animals, horticulture and land-based studies.
Depending on the learner's circumstances, a placement may be funded by a school, local authority or parent/carer.
We understand that education funding can sometimes feel complicated, particularly for families of children with an Education, Health and Care Plan (EHCP) or those exploring Education Otherwise Than At School (EOTAS). The information below will help you identify the route most relevant to you.
Friends of Frampton Farm is an approved external tuition provider working with Kent County Council and Medway.
Some learners may be able to access our provision as part of a Local Authority-funded education package, including learners with an EHCP or an agreed EOTAS package.
Funding must be agreed by the relevant Local Authority before a funded placement can begin.

Schools and education settings can commission placements directly from Friends of Frampton Farm.
We work with: Mainstream schools, Special schools, Alternative Provision settings, Multi-Academy Trusts, Virtual Schools
Schools may commission individual placements or discuss a bespoke programme based on the learner's needs.

Families who have chosen Elective Home Education (EHE) can access many of our programmes directly without requiring Local Authority funding.
This includes learners who have been formally deregistered from school and whose parents or carers are taking responsibility for arranging their education.
Families can choose from a range of practical programmes, qualifications and farm-based learning opportunities and pay the course fees directly.

We also offer courses and qualifications for adult learners.
Fees vary depending on the qualification, duration and delivery method, with practical farm-based and hybrid learning options available.
