Our hybrid courses combine the flexibility of online learning with the benefits of hands-on practical training. Learners complete theory-based work remotely at a pace that suits their individual needs, while attending practical sessions on the farm to develop and demonstrate vocational skills in a real working environment. This approach can reduce travel time, support learners who may find full-time attendance challenging, and provide greater flexibility around other commitments.
By combining online study with practical experience, learners gain both the knowledge and industry-relevant skills needed to progress into further education, apprenticeships and employment. Click here to find answers to many of our hybrid course questions.
Learners can complete the practical aspects of the course and associated assessments at either of our centres – Frampton Farm, Dover, or Poppies Farm, Wokingham.
